I’m Wilson Hui, a web developer based in Calgary, Alberta. For over 20 years I’ve built websites, e-commerce stores and custom business systems, from WordPress and Shopify sites to full stack Node.js, React and PHP applications running on AWS. Today I pair that experience with AI-assisted development, using tools like Claude Code to design, build and ship projects faster without cutting corners.
What I build

- E-commerce: Shopify and WordPress stores, including migrating an established Calgary instrumentation business to a new e-commerce platform.
- Custom web applications: Node.js, React and PostgreSQL apps, LAMP-stack (PHP/MySQL) CRMs and internal tools, hosted on AWS.
- Integrations and automation: connecting websites and stores to ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, plus APIs and data syncing between systems.
AI-assisted web development
AI coding tools have changed how fast software can be built, but they still need an experienced developer steering them. I use AI-assisted development every day to prototype ideas, write and refactor code, build integrations and automate repetitive work, while I handle the architecture, review every change and make sure it holds up in production. At JM Test Systems this approach shortened the timeline on a multi-system ERP and CRM integration.

Most recently I was Senior Full Stack Developer at JM Test Systems in Calgary, integrating Business Central, Fluke Met/Cal and an in-house CRM. Before that I spent 14 years at BHD Instrumentation, finishing as VP of IT and Marketing, where I built the company’s CRM and e-commerce platform, managed Google Ads, and led and trained a team of full stack developers.
